Night Flight Into Chicago O'Hare with a Small Airplane

That was one of the coolest things we have ever done. We spoke about going to O'Hare at night with my friend and instructor Matt since he first started training me at Skill Aviation.

Finally we got to do it! Matt arranged with Chicago TRACON and they told him that we would have better chances after 1am and closer to 2am.

I got to the airport about an hour before Matt and Larry got there and I flew in the pattern and did my night currency.

Chicago Approach it turns out was very cool. The only traffic at O'Hare were heavy cargo planes at that hour.
