LANDED AT AN AIR FORCE BASE! Flying a Cirrus in Greece, Episode 1
The summer of 2018 marked another milestone and bucket list item for me. Flying a Cirrus SR22 outside of the US. This is the beginning of a wonderful island hopping, mountain flying adventure in the beautiful blue skies of Greece.
Recently, I became a member of the Athens Aeroclub and I was able to fly their Cirrus SR22 N429CD for a few days while there in July of 2018.
In this video, I relocated the airplane from Megara General Aviation Airport (LGMG) to Tatoi Air Force Base (LGTT) where the Greek Air Force Cadets train.
On this quick flight I had to quickly familiarize myself with VFR routes and altitudes within the Athina TMA.
