Fantasy of Flight - Victory In The Sky
Another piece produced by our friends at WUSF Public Broadcasting. :)
Of the more than 40,000 U.S. trained fighter pilots in WW II, only 1,314 achieved the title American Fighter Ace.
The title "Ace" was reserved for combat pilots who shot down five or more enemy aircraft while both aircraft were in the air. Veterans holding this prestigious title, including legendary P-51 Ace Col. C.E. Bud Anderson, will be sharing their real-life WW II aerial battle experiences with Fantasy of Flight guests during the Victory In The Sky Living History Symposium held in conjunction with Mustangs & Mustangs, featuring hundreds of classic and modern Ford automobiles and Mustang war birds.
Come learn history directly from the heroes who MADE HISTORY. (They're REAL TOP GUNS!) Event details are available at www.fantasyofflight.com/livinghistory.
The Living History Symposium Series is sponsored in part by WUSF Public Broadcasting
Running time: 08:20.
